Component Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Component Engineer to support the control of electronic part requirements through documentation, data management, and coordination with various departments.
Job Requirements:

BSEE degree
-
7 years Component Engineering experience
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and Product Lifecycle Management systems
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with EEE parts selection and evaluation

Knowledge of screening, traceability/Lot control, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), and nuclear radiation requirements for space programs
Job Responsibilities:
-
Generate Source Control Drawings (SCDs) and review supplier control documentation

Ensure compliance with part program requirements

Review incoming inspection data and vendor/manufacturer QPL CofC data packages
-
Generate and resolve Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs)
-
Manage data configuration, logging, storage, and maintain electronic databases (PLM systems)

Coordinate part issue disposition with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Assurance
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
