Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support vehicle production, review design specifications, and maintain variance control processes.

  • Review and interpret design specifications, drawings, and test results

  • Support vehicle production on 1st Shift

  • Create Problem Reports for engineering issues in production

  • Maintain Variance control process for production variations

  • Assist in special projects and process improvement teams

Requirements:

  • Entry level knowledge of relevant technical field concepts and practices

  • Experience with 3D CAD software such as PTC Creo

  • Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in engineering disciplines

  • Ability to create/maintain large Excel spreadsheets

  • Experience in prototype or production environments involving weldments, machined parts fabrication, and subsystem assembly/integration

  • Experience with military ground vehicles

  • Familiarity with military/commercial design standards

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing and Configuration Management Systems

  • Familiarity with CREO and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing ASME Y1

4.5-2009

  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $39.00 to $43.00 per hour
