Summary: Seeking an Aerospace Engineer to design and analyze aircraft structures and systems, develop technical solutions, and create 3D designs.

Requirements:

  • BS in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent; 4 years of related experience or MS with 2 years of related experience

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS) and exposure to finite element modeling (NASTRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS, or equivalent)

Preferred:

  • 7 years of experience in aerospace engineering design

  • Experience with composites, fracture mechanics, and government regulations (FAA)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test instrumentation

  • Familiarity with statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and stress calculations

  • Experience using NASTRAN, AFGROW, and other analysis tools

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze aircraft structures and systems

  • Develop technical solutions to mechanical and aerodynamic problems

  • Create 3D designs and generate CAD drawings

  • Collaborate with teams to achieve project goals

  • Travel up to 25% for company or customer requirements

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
