Payroll Specialist IV
Summary: Seeking a Payroll Specialist IV with extensive experience in payroll processing, proficiency in UKG Payroll, and strong general payroll knowledge.
Responsibilities:

Process multi-state payroll for 40,000 employees.

Evaluate, develop recommendations, document processes, and implement approved changes.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of complex payroll functions.

Calculate pay information and adjustments for payroll processing.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax policies.

Serve as an escalation point for payroll-related inquiries.

Conduct specialized research and provide recommendations on payroll issues.

Review and submit manual check requests including sensitive cases like terminations.

Assist with wage audits from various agencies.

Aid in the deployment of process automation and reporting tools.

Oversee overpayment matters.
Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of payroll department experience.

Proficiency with UKG Payroll and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong general payroll knowledge.

Understanding of internal payroll controls.
Preferred Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Experience with unions, garnishments, or expat payroll processing.
-
CPP certification.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour
