Satellite In Orbit Commissioning Systems Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Satellite In Orbit Commissioning Systems Engineer to oversee IOT definition, planning, preparation, tests, and site surveys for satellite constellations.

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least a BS degree

• Ability to pass a drug and background check (ITAR compliance)

• Previous IOT organization/planning/test experience with LEO/MEO/GEO satellites

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), commissioning, and routine operations

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, plan, and execute satellite operations including LEOP and commissioning

• Develop, test, validate, and maintain flight operations plans and procedures

• Support analysis of operational events and anomalies related to satellite and ground segment elements

• Define ground station equipment needs per mission requirements

• Prepare and execute System Validation Tests with the satellite on ground

• Provide training to Mission Control Centre operations personnel

• Coordinate in-orbit operations of satellite activities at the system level

• Validate Mission Control Centre operations and operator training

• Prepare operations reports

 

 

 Pay: 60-90

Pay Details: $60.00 to $90.00 per hour
