Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, test, and implement electrical systems and components for aviation applications.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering

  • 7+ years of experience in design of electrical systems for aviation

  • Knowledge of AS50881 (Wiring Aerospace Vehicle) and AC 4

3.13-1B standards

  • Experience with first article testing of newly designed components

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python

  • Familiarity with embedded systems design and testing

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with RF principles

  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD drafting products

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing electrical systems through testing and implementation

  • Design, build, and test electrical components and systems

  • Create electrical diagrams, block diagrams, interface control documents, conceptual wiring diagrams, and detailed wiring diagrams

  • Implement EMC segregation routes based on signal type and EMI protection measures

  • Select wires/cables to meet signal type, current, voltage, EMC, and EMI aircraft requirements

  • Support technical planning, system integration, verification/validation for total harness air vehicle design

  • Conduct harness modeling including 3-D modeling, space claims, overall routing/integration concept creation

  • Produce wire harness drawings/schematics and document cable harnesses

  • Participate in concurrent engineering phase for harness installation supporting aircraft integration/testing on-site

 



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
