Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in investment casting and experience in regulated environments like Medical Device, Automotive, or Aerospace.

Job Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years as an Investment Casting Engineer in a foundry

  • Experience in Medical Device or other regulated environments

  • Proficient with GD&T and interpreting technical drawings (ASME Y1

4.5M)

  • Ability to interpret CMM reports

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with PFMEA/DFMEA, Gage R&R, TMV, Risk Assessments, Control Plans

  • Experience with equipment validations (IQ, OQ & PQ)

  • Proficiency in Solid Modelling (NX/Unigraphics, Solid Works, Pro-E) and Simulation software (Solidification, FEA, Mold Flow, CFM)

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing; Green or Black Belt Six Sigma

  • Experience with additive manufacturing (3D Printing) and statistical analysis (MiniTab)

  • Experience using ceramic cores in the investment casting process

  • 6 axis or equivalent robot operation/programming experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead new casting product launch from feasibility through validation and commercial launch

  • Design wax pattern tools/molds

  • Manage projects effectively within a multidisciplinary team



Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
