Summary: Seeking an Installation Technician for the installation and commissioning of various inspection systems, requiring extensive travel and technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • 90% Travel required

  • Working knowledge of x-ray and/or CT technologies

  • Previous field electrical assembly experience

  • Experience with rigging and material handling

  • Basic understanding of OSHA standards and practices

  • Must be able to obtain a US Passport

Preferred Skills:

  • Network installation and configuration is a plus

  • PLC experience is a plus

  • Software integration with electric/mechanical equipment

  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission Mid-Energy Portals (MEP), Low Energy Portals (LEP), IP6500 Vehicle and Cargo Inspection Systems, Exploranium, Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) systems.

  • Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions.

  • Perform technical support on products at customer or factory locations.

  • Meet weekly project installation goals within required deadlines.

  • Support engineering activities during Factory Acceptance testing.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems quickly.

  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, system manuals, and technical directives for troubleshooting purposes.



Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
