Aftermarket Expediter
Summary: Seeking an Aftermarket Expediter to manage AOG orders, optimize shipping solutions, and ensure quality compliance for parts.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to four years experience in shipping, material handling, technical operations, or transportation
Knowledge of manufacturing principles for both purchased and in-house manufactured parts preferred
Knowledge of technical operations and parts sales roles
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of network of alternative suppliers
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and take ownership of AOG orders through sales, picking, shipping, and delivery
Identify optimum shipping options to resolve AOG orders expeditiously
Use industry knowledge to satisfy AOG requirements
Impact OTC sales revenues directly
Maintain familiarity with parts sources at all locations and 3rd party providers
Create summary reports on outcomes of AOG orders
Handle exceptional situations like out-of-stock inventory for AOG orders
Coordinate all parts issues ensuring proper documentation from vendors or ODARS
Monitor Corridor Sales Orders for proper processing within departments
Assess quality when buying from 3rd parties ensuring inspection documentation is available
Participate in rotating AOG duties
Facilitate daily shortage meetings with planning and purchasing management
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
