Summary: Seeking an IT Security Representative II responsible for supporting Risk Management Framework compliance and cybersecurity efforts for various systems.

Requirements:

  • IAM Level I certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

  • Basic understanding of simple networks, operating systems, and computer functions

  • Coursework in a technical discipline (e.g., programming/scripting, systems administration, cybersecurity/information assurance)

  • Working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures

  • Experience with auditing and certifying compliance of various systems (Windows, Linux, Network Devices)

  • Experience with preparation of Assessment and Authorization documents

  • Experience with development and delivery of IA-related briefings and training material

  • Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, SCAP, ACAS, SCC)

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of information security technology

  • Working knowledge of information security management and compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Support adherence to all aspects of a rigorous Risk Management Framework compliance program as stipulated by NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs and associated NIST publications

  • Work with the Information System Security Manager to maintain Authority to Operate approvals by adhering to the Risk Management Framework

  • Support cybersecurity efforts throughout the RMF process for assigned programs including enforcement of System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones

  • Assess and audit systems security controls



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
