Summary: Seeking an Avionics Installer I to assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components according to blueprints and engineering drawings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

  • Must know how to use a multimeter

  • Entry-level position

Preferred Skills:

  • Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience

  • Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of a current year youth apprenticeship program

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

  • Computer skills and general software knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and equipment as per blueprints

  • Help complete tasks within the allotted time frame

  • Maintain required logs and records

  • Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations

  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
