Manufacturing Engineer II – 2nd Shift
Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for 2nd shift to perform technical studies, optimize manufacturing processes, and apply Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
18 months of Manufacturing Engineering or related technical experience
Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles
Familiarity with Engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading, and shop math
Ability to operate computerized equipment (e.g., CADAM, CATIA, Solumina, SAP)
Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct complex technical studies and operations analysis
Author detailed work instructions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
Create rework instructions for effective corrective actions
Develop MBOM in SAP/Solumina/Corridor to ensure proper part installation
Perform research and analysis to ensure project conformance
Assist in preparing equipment and facility justification requests
Apply statistical methods for future manufacturing estimations
Audit co-workers' output based on requirements and procedures
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles as a team member or leader
Pay Details: $40.00 to $47.00 per hour
