Summary: Seeking a Magnetics Power Engineer to develop and manage energy storage systems, converters, and power electronics for grid integration.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with 1 MW flywheel energy storage systems

  • Expertise in bi-directional converters for energy storage and fuel cell operations

  • Knowledge of DC bus systems

  • Understanding of power electronics for grid integration and harmonic control

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with magnetic bearing controllers

  • Experience with turbines for waste heat recovery

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement bi-directional converters for energy storage to flywheel systems

  • Develop power electronics to ensure proper harmonic content on the grid

  • Manage magnetic bearing controllers for turbines

  • Oversee filtering and control of harmonics for fuel cell grid connections



Pay Details: $63.00 to $84.00 per hour
