Cabinet Maker II
Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Maker II to fabricate and assemble furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies for the aerospace industry.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools
Two (2) years experience in cabinetmaking
Must be computer literate
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the aerospace industry
Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications
Responsibilities:
Fabricate furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings
Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells; install drawer-slides, hinges, latches, and other hardware
Apply exterior surface materials such as laminates, veneers, and cap strips
Use stationary and hand-held power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture
Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interior
Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work
Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
