Summary: Seeking an Avionics/Elec Tech I to perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and aircraft systems.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 2 years related work experience or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring

  • Familiarity with engineering changes and modifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates basic technical skills in operational testing and troubleshooting

  • Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specifications

  • Assists in ensuring quality and efficiency of installations

  • Repairs or replaces defective components to ensure conformity

  • Conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability

  • Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components

  • Complies with FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
