Summary: Seeking an Engineer specialized in HVAC/Refrigeration for supporting various phases of Environmental Control Unit (ECU) and Liquid Chiller projects.

Job Requirements:

  • US citizenship or permanent residency strongly preferred due to ITAR requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Basic understanding of refrigeration systems

  • Proficiency in using commercial CAD (Solidworks) and FEA (Solidworks) tools, along with refrigeration system design tools

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and prototype hardware fabrication and testing

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong technical background with experience in design for manufacturability of complex systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate innovative concepts for initial product design

  • Conduct analytical analysis using Excel or hand calculations

  • Design refrigeration (Vapor Compression) systems and select components

  • Generate refrigeration schematics, Requirements and Verification Matrix (RVM), and Compliance Matrix

  • Create 3-D CAD models and 2-D drawings using Solidworks

  • Develop fabrication procedures and work instructions

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of engineers and technicians

  • Manage program schedules and budget

  • Communicate frequently with customers



Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
