Electrical Engineer
Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in custom industrial machine controls and programming for a new project.
Job Requirements:
BSEE/BSEET degree
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Program PLC (AB or Siemens)
5+ years of experience in custom industrial machine controls and programming
Reside within a 60-mile radius of Huntersville, NC
Preferred Skills:
Experience with safety components (safety relays, safety PLCs)
Familiarity with HMI hardware programming
Knowledge of vision system hardware (Cognex, Keyence, Banner)
Competence in stepper/servo motors and controller hardware
Job Responsibilities:
Create cabinet/panel drawings, BOMs, schematics, one-line diagrams, PI&D diagrams, cable drawings, and wire/cable pull lists
Select and size electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, cables, and wires
Interface with Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in concept development and pricing for proposals
Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments
Ensure total quality of products and assist with CAPAs and process improvement activities
Pay Details: $55.00 to $63.00 per hour
