Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in custom industrial machine controls and programming for a new project.

Job Requirements:

  • BSEE/BSEET degree

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD

  • Program PLC (AB or Siemens)

  • 5+ years of experience in custom industrial machine controls and programming

  • Reside within a 60-mile radius of Huntersville, NC

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with safety components (safety relays, safety PLCs)

  • Familiarity with HMI hardware programming

  • Knowledge of vision system hardware (Cognex, Keyence, Banner)

  • Competence in stepper/servo motors and controller hardware

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create cabinet/panel drawings, BOMs, schematics, one-line diagrams, PI&D diagrams, cable drawings, and wire/cable pull lists

  • Select and size electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, cables, and wires

  • Interface with Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle

  • Assist in concept development and pricing for proposals

  • Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments

  • Ensure total quality of products and assist with CAPAs and process improvement activities



Pay Details: $55.00 to $63.00 per hour
