Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering design and consulting for the energy sector.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience

  • Professional Engineering licensure (any US state)

  • Experience with business growth strategy and new project opportunities

  • Knowledge of proposal development and project execution planning

  • Availability to travel as required (typically less than 50%)

  • Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the Cary, NC office

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior management experience

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor/manage junior and mid-level mechanical engineering staff

  • Formulate strategies, develop business, and expand energy transition portfolio

  • Engage with clients to evaluate needs and develop detailed design solutions

  • Lead a mechanical engineering team for advisory services and design solutions

  • Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits



Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
