Sr Avionics/Elec Tech
Summary: Seeking a Sr Avionics/Elec Tech specialized in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing, troubleshooting, and component installation.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Six years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics with four years related experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Preferred Skills:
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
FCC License
NCATT certification
Proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs
APU run qualification and engine run qualification
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
Teach installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per Engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals
Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoot malfunctioning systems
Repair or replace defective components and wiring to meet installation conformity standards
Use acceptable repair techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring
Maintain daily logs and other paperwork diligently
Document all work performed on the aircraft completely
Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations
Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
