Summary: Seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician II with expertise in avionics systems operational testing, troubleshooting, and installation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Preferred Skills:

  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license

  • FCC certification

  • NCATT certification

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications

  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems ensuring quality and efficiency

  • Repair or replace defective components using acceptable practices like splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring

  • Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability

  • Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations



Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
