Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in aerospace and defense electrical design, with expertise in DO-160 and Mil-STD standards.

Job Requirements:

  • BSEE degree (MSEE or higher is a plus)

  • 10-15 years minimum experience designing analog, digital, and power electronics systems

  • Proficiency with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic simulation software

  • Strong digital and analog hardware design experience

  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis

  • Minimum of 5 years of continuous hardware development experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Physical circuit board layout experience (e.g., OrCAD, Mentor, Cadence Allegro)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical equipment for aerospace and defense purposes per customer requirements

  • Prepare schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and assembly drawings

  • Ensure electrical design data package is organized and updated as necessary

  • Design and implement electrical stress tests for product reliability

  • Design test fixtures to verify circuit boards' functionality for production testing

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system requirements are met

  • Research and specify appropriate purchased components

  • Direct activities to ensure compliance with functional specifications

  • Work with vendors to define technical product requirements

  • Coordinate with quality assurance for production support

Pay: 120000-165000
