Summary: Seeking a Fabrication Tech skilled in welding and metal fabrication for part modification and assembly.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous welding and metal fabricating skills preferred

  • Experience welding using Tig & Mig equipment

  • Experience with breaks, shears, and other metal forming tools preferred

  • Familiar with calipers, tape measures, and other standard measuring equipment

  • CAD/CATIA experience required

  • Basic math skills, ability to interpret the metric system

Preferred Skills:

  • Water jet cutting experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and/or modify metal parts and components from blueprints or 3D data

  • Use saw, shear, metal brake, oxygen/acetylene torch, grinder, and other fabrication equipment

  • Read and understand blueprints and schematics

  • Select proper equipment and set voltage and wire feed settings

  • Weld from a variety of positions to obtain proper strength and appearance

  • Maintain proficiency in relevant knowledge skills and in the use of equipment applicable to the position

  • Monitor fitting, burning & welding processes

  • Examine completed workpieces for defects

  • Setup & operate fabricating machines



Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
