Rotary Kiln Process Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Rotary Kiln Process Engineer responsible for analyzing kiln performance, optimizing processes, and leading maintenance strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with lean principles.
Strong understanding of rotary kiln technology and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in data analysis and reliability software tools (Minitab, PowerBI, Excel, Osisoft PI Vision).
Familiarity with database entry and report creation (preferably SAP).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of cement production equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze kiln performance data to identify trends and potential failure points.
Develop strategies for equipment and process optimization.
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop corrective actions.
Utilize Lean/Six Sigma tools to improve rotary kiln OEE.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvements.
Design proactive maintenance strategies including predictive and preventive programs.
Oversee execution of maintenance plans ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Innovate new procedures to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
Develop and standardize best practices with operational personnel.
Manage projects related to kiln reliability from conception to completion.
Ensure projects meet safety, performance criteria, timelines, and budgets.
Provide technical support to plant personnel on kiln operations.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians fostering continuous improvement.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
