Summary: Seeking a Principal Permitting Specialist with extensive experience in offshore wind development and federal, state, and local permitting processes.

  • Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Ten+ years of job-related experience
    • Demonstrated experience in Federal, State (NY/NJ), and/or Local permitting processes
    • Valid driver's license

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Article 7 related to construction
    • Offshore wind development experience
    • Experience interfacing with State and/or Federal Agencies
    • Technically proficient within subject matter or demonstrated ability to learn the business
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Comprehensive understanding of Federal and/or State permitting and environmental processes/requirements
    • Familiarity with typical environmental studies required for infrastructure projects in NY/NJ and on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS)
    • Understanding of processes to obtain easements, requirements within right-of-ways, and real estate acquisition/development
    • Some travel required



Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
