Summary: Seeking a Technical Writer specialized in MIL-STD and ILS with experience in IADS4 compliance development of technical publications.

Job Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain a clearance)

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS/BE) or equivalent experience

  • 3-7 years in technical writing experience

  • Experience with IADS4 compliance development of technical publications

  • Knowledge of XML, coding capable programs (Arbortext) to develop technical user documentation

  • Knowledge of DoD Support Initiatives

  • Understanding of military systems acquisition logistics and fielding process

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft products

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in technical publication development in accordance with military standards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate and modify MIL-STD and various ILS analysis and reports

  • Interpret mission/support scenarios into logistics support requirements

  • Develop ILS support and maintenance plans, including Level of Repair Analysis, supportability analysis, and maintenance demonstrations

  • Generate and modify training material, training slides, and instruction packages

  • Review and verify compliance of technical documentation



Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
