Summary: Seeking a Pipe Fitter Class 1 with expertise in pipe schematics, installation drawings, and various pipe fitting techniques for permanent positions.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pipefitting trade

  • Ability to interpret pipe schematics, isometrics, and installation drawings

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools associated with the trade

  • Knowledgeable in identifying pipe sizes, schedules, alloys, and fittings

  • Understanding of standard/metric measurements and math related to the trade

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with different types of valves and their functions

  • Experience fabricating pipe spools for Butt Weld, Socket Weld, and Threaded systems

  • Competency in taking center-to-center measurements for field run systems

  • Ability to fabricate and install supports for piping systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow verbal or written instructions from supervisors

  • Fabricate piping systems using proper fit-up techniques

  • Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of systems

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Train subordinates through on-the-job training (OJT)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must regularly stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
