Summary: Seeking an experienced Pressing Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and maintain production quality in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Technical High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools, such as statistical process control and root cause analysis
  • Experience with process optimization, 6S/Lean practices and principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Microsoft proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel), Power BI, and SAP

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned shift within the Pressing Department
  • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards
  • Monitor quality of production and adherence to internal guidelines
  • Delegate daily staffing duties, trainings, and manage payroll
  • Implement and promote 6S/Lean practices and RCA investigations for quality and safety incidents
  • Work with Management, Supervisor Team, Technical Experts, and Team Members to align with corporate objectives and goals
  • Review and analyze production records to identify improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure it operates at standard specifications
  • Ensure compliance with the production schedule
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Participate in the development of IMS-Documentation (procedural and work instruction)


Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
