Production Manager

Summary: Seeking a Production Manager-Head of Unshaped to lead and manage the operational functions within the department, ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are met.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• High School diploma required; 2 or 4-year technical degree preferred.

• Previous manufacturing experience with progressive experience in managing people and processes.

• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment.

• Familiarity and working knowledge of Lean/6S practices.

• Knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.

• Strong skills in Microsoft applications and ERP systems.

Preferred Skills:

• OSHA Training preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture of safety within the department.

• Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to established standards.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders and meet inventory requirements.

• Identify, recommend, and implement operational improvements to reduce costs and improve OEE.

• Develop annual operating budget based on production plans.

• Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional processes like production, inventory management, quality assurance, and customer service.

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
