Head of Maintenance & Engineering
Summary: Seeking a Head of Maintenance & Engineering to oversee plant facilities and equipment, develop strategies, lead teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and engineering within an industrial setting
At least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience with TPM and project leadership
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Proven track record of managing budgets and leading teams
In-depth understanding of maintenance management systems (SAP)
Working knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations
Preferred Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance and engineering strategies and procedures
Lead maintenance and engineering teams, providing training and development
Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of plant property including equipment and systems
Plan and manage the budget for maintenance and engineering operations
Conduct regular inspections to predict potential failures; schedule preventive maintenance
Liaise with managers on safety, production, and quality for efficient operation
Ensure compliance with health/safety legislation and environmental regulations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
