Mechanical Designer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer to work on the manufacturing of conveyors and aggregate equipment.

Requirements:

• Excellent familiarity with the Solidworks platform (will only train Sheet Metal commands)

• Understanding of technical drawings

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Solidworks PDM

• Working knowledge of welding and its associated documentation

• Experience in designing chassis for heavy weight, such as firetrucks

Job Responsibilities:

• Create new or modify existing models and drawings to meet customer needs

• Ensure drawings conform to Kafka guidelines

• Utilize Solidworks and Solidworks PDM

• Collaborate with fabricators, welders, machinists, sales, and purchasing teams

Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
