Summary: Seeking a Robot Programmer to develop, simulate, and support robotic systems within an automated production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program six-axis robotic arms.

  • Plan new systems utilizing robotics within the Automated Production Systems team.

  • Simulate new implementations using Robotic Simulation software.

  • Support validation efforts of new implementations.

  • Identify and detail automation opportunities with the Automated Production Systems team.

  • Generate documentation in collaboration with technical writers.

  • Visit vendors, attend tradeshows, and participate in training as needed.

  • Participate in Design for Manufacturing and Design for Automation discussions.

  • Integrate machines into larger systems with Controls Engineering teams.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in process automation or related role, including project management.

  • Experience with ABB Robotics.

  • Proven track record leading high-value capital projects to drive process improvement and meet operational goals.

  • Expertise in specifying, selecting, implementing, and validating equipment.

  • Proficiency with automation components/controls, PLCs/HMIs, robotics, sensors, and vision inspection systems.

  • Machine design experience.

  • Experience programming six-axis robotic arms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Willingness to work on projects at multiple sites within a 30-mile radius.



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
