Component Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Component Engineer to support the control of electronic part requirements and ensure compliance with program specifications.
Job Requirements:
BSEE degree
7 years of Component Engineering experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database, and Product Lifecycle Management systems
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with EEE parts selection, characterization/evaluation, screening, prohibitive/restrictive usage, traceability/Lot control, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), and nuclear radiation requirements for space programs
Job Responsibilities:
Generate Source Control Drawings (SCDs)
Review supplier control documentation
Ensure part program requirements compliance (Approved parts lists/Nonconformance Reports/Test Documents)
Review incoming inspection data
Manage vendor/manufacturer QPL CofC and part-specific data packages
Generate and resolve Discrepant Material Reports (DMR)
Manage data configuration, logging, storage, and maintain electronic databases like PLM systems
Coordinate with Engineering, Material Control, and Quality Assurance on part issues and performance requirements
Pay: 80k-100k

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
