Summary: Seeking a Metrology Engineer specialized in developing and improving inspection, measurement, and calibration methods.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM-related field

  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

  • Understanding of scientific principles behind metrology

  • Working knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 10012, ANSI Z540.1 & Z540.3 standards

  • Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO13485 standards for quality control

  • Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

  • Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills

  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in metrology

Preferred Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis for measurement processes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop inspection methods, techniques, and measurement programs

  • Provide input on product and manufacturing process/design based on measurement capabilities

  • Establish equipment tolerances using statistical performance data

  • Recommend calibration standards, equipment, and frequencies

  • Analyze measurement standards and processes using statistics

  • Evaluate new inspection, measurement, and calibration methods/procedures

  • Update existing inspection, measurement, and calibration methods/procedures



Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
