Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer with experience in sustaining engineering within a medically regulated industry to develop and test medical devices.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a sustaining engineer in a Class II or III medical device industry

  • Design verification and validation experience in the medical device industry

  • Exposure to failure mode analysis

  • Knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., Minitab)

  • Test method validation

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required, Master's preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills:

  • CAD experience

  • Good computer skills using MS Office Suite

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop moderately complex experiments and tests, analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports

  • Generate work instructions, test methods, engineering drawings/prototypes

  • Create/update portions of design control documents including requirement specs and risk documents

  • Assign R&D support tasks; instruct and train technicians; coordinate technician work

  • Identify, evaluate, manage, and provide guidance to suppliers

Pay: 35-43

Pay Details: $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
