Upholstery Fabricator
Summary: Seeking an Upholstery Fabricator to fabricate, develop, build, sew, and cover aircraft soft goods following Dassault Falcon Jet standards.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in Upholstery, Sewing, or related field
Ability to align intricate or elaborate designs in fabrics
No allergies to chemicals, solvents, paints, adhesives, natural/manmade materials, fabrics, or feathers
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in confined spaces and unusual positions
Ability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Visual capacity and muscular dexterity for fine detail work with minimal errors
Preferred Skills:
Aircraft upholstery fabrication experience
Problem-solving skills for practical issues
Ability to interpret various instructions (written, oral, diagram form)
Manufacturing/vocational/tech school training or related college credits
Computer/software training or experience
Familiarity with documentation such as MES, FPS, WI, blueprints, drawings
Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate aircraft soft goods including crew seats, passenger seats, divans, side ledges, headliners
Use 3D models, drawings, blueprints following Dassault Quality standards
Stock and remove materials from bins above storage level according to OSHA standards
Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
