Flight line Avionics Checkout

Summary: Seeking a Final Line Avionics Checkout Technician with extensive experience in aircraft avionics systems for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED with technical training/experience in AC, DC, Digital, Analog, Pulse, Comm/Nav, and Pitot/Static Systems.

• Minimum of four (4) years' experience in the aircraft field.

• Must have required tools.

• Able to work on maintenance stands extending to 25 feet.

• Able to work in confined spaces and unusual positions.

• Able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.

• Able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Skills:

• Understand various electrical and avionics systems by different manufacturers.

• Proficient in using a wide assortment of test equipment and tooling.

• Knowledgeable in electrical and digital theories.

• Capable of interpreting Engineering documentation, diagrams, and schematics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, charts, and schematics.

• Perform maintenance tasks on avionics systems as per guidelines.

• Use test equipment for troubleshooting various avionic issues.

• Occasionally travel as required.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
