Quality Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, execute complex tests, and address quality and compliance issues within the medical device industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

• 5-7 years of experience in a related field.

• Proficiency with engineering software such as CAD.

• Experience with test method development, device builds in cleanroom environments, and risk management.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with new product development processes.

• Experience with receiving inspection tasks.

• Capable of conducting operator training sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and optimization of complex manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools.

• Drive development and manage execution of experiments to create and validate products, including comprehensive process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).

• Develop training materials for production to facilitate knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.

• Create technical content for risk management files.

• Investigate product quality/compliance issues, analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.

Additional Notes:

• Candidates without medical device experience will be automatically disqualified.

• Local candidates only; must be willing to work on W2 (no Corp to Corp arrangements).

 

 Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
