Summary: Environmental Engineer required with a BS in Environmental Engineering or similar, experienced in environmental consulting, and familiar with Florida regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering or similar engineering field

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with an environmental consulting firm

  • Collection of samples from various sites including soil, air, water

  • Monitoring well installations and oversight of drilling activities

  • Documentation of construction QA observations for compliance with construction documents

  • Completion of QC reviews on plans, designs, calculations prior to submissions

  • Preparation of permit applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Florida environment regulations

  • AutoCAD proficiency highly beneficial

  • Experience with Miami Dade DERM favorable

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; must be on track to receive PE License

  • Valid Driver's License with good standing driving record

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out sample collection at hazardous and non-hazardous sites

  • Monitor well installation processes and supervise drilling activities

  • Document and ensure quality assurance during construction phase

  • Conduct quality control reviews on various project deliverables before submission

  • Prepare necessary permit applications in accordance to project requirements

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
