Summary: Seeking a Software Test Engineer specialized in National Instruments based test systems for new product introductions, ensuring regulatory compliance and leveraging Agile methodologies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.

  • Experience with C/C++ for firmware development.

  • Proficiency in Python and PyQt for software development.

  • Familiarity with DMM, power supply, oscilloscope, and other lab equipment use.

  • Knowledge of medical device regulations (ISO13485, CFR820, IEC 60601-X).

  • Lean and six sigma certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop test systems on National Instruments platforms for new products including concept to service introduction.

  • Debug and enhance test software and firmware on production and service testers.

  • Identify hardware requirements for test systems and design product interface fixtures to meet product test needs.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation processes.

  • Drive reliability upstream into the development life cycle using Agile and Lean software development methodologies.

 

 



Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
