Summary: Seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to lead design enhancements for electro-mechanical medical devices, with a focus on patient monitoring platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

  • 0-4 years of experience in the field.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Knowledge of design/manufacturing of electro-mechanical medical devices; experience with patient sensors preferred.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD solid modeling software and data management systems.

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, thermoforming, etc.).

  • Experience with DFM methodologies.

  • Expertise in ASME Y14.5M-2009 drawing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the ideation and design process for product enhancements.

  • Develop hands-on prototypes and conduct feasibility tests.

  • Identify opportunities for product and manufacturing process improvement.

  • Design, test, and implement corrections for product enhancements.

  • Generate test protocols, reports, and documentation for design verification support.

  • Collaborate with new product development teams.

 

 Pay: 50-60

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
