Process Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a new project, focusing on engineering calculations, design standards compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering preferred

• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred

• Experience with HYSYS, ProMax, or equivalent software

• Proficiency in conceptual through detailed design and P&ID development

• Familiarity with pumps and compressors beneficial

• Knowledge of codes such as API and Process design standards

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in project upstream, downstream, and midstream sectors

• Previous roles at companies like Worley, Black & Veatch, Jacobs valued

• Demonstrable oil/gas/petrochemical industry experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering sketches and perform complex engineering calculations

• Develop analysis models for project assignments

• Review/approve vendor drawings for specification compliance

• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants

• Manage projects to ensure completion within schedule and budget

• Adhere to company quality standards alongside checking and approval procedures

• Comply with all company/client health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards as well as federal/local HSSE regulations

• Participate actively in hazard identification processes

Additional Notes:

• ITAR Work Regulations compliance required

• US Citizenship or Green Card holder mandatory; no sponsorship for OPT/EAD/F1, H1B or TN Visa candidates

• No expected overtime amount; standard workweek Monday - Friday on first shift

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
