Job Posting Summary: Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement high-quality software for complex medical instruments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in software development for complex instruments or devices with motion control and fluidics
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing SOA and Entity Framework for medical instrument activities like scheduling and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Java and one of the following: C, C++, or C#
  • Experience with medical device regulatory standards (21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
  • Understanding of revision control and issue tracking systems
  • Experience with software development life cycles (Agile, Spiral)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with gRPC
  • Proficiency in software configuration tools (CVS, SVN, Git; Mantis, Jira; DOORS; Code Collaborator, Crucible)
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Experience with Blazor and ASP .Net

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and deliver reliable, robust embedded and desktop software for medical instruments
  • Participate in C# .Net service development for medical instrument control and coordination activities
  • Ensure software meets regulatory standards for medical devices
  • Conduct system risk and hazard analysis as part of the development process


Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
