Summary: Seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator III with expertise in advanced CAD software to prepare complex drawing packages and manage drafting projects.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Solidworks, Draftsite, and PDM.

  • High School diploma or 2 years of technical training plus 5 years related experience.

  • Familiarity with DoD or federal agency drawing standards is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/edit complex drawing packages using CAD software, including multiple views and diagrams.

  • Visualize and portray complex design features requiring considerable drafting skill.

  • Work from sketches/verbal info to determine appropriate views/details for assignments.

  • Select information from precedents, catalogs, and guides for drawings.

  • Mastery of CAD system command/data entry for layout drafting.

  • Determine scales/views for orthographic/axonometric drawings per design/documentation needs.

  • Create electrical schematics/connection diagrams from sketches/design info.

  • Develop layouts/drawings of complex items within weight/dimensional limits.

  • Estimate drafting time/costs and manage project time/costs as required.

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $52.00 per hour
