Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer to create custom designs and layouts for new projects, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and customer specifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo for custom design creation

  • Capability to review project proposals or plans to determine project timelines and procedures

  • Ability to review product designs for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements

  • Analytical skills to assess research data and product specifications for feasibility studies

  • Competency in evaluating design changes, specifications, and drawing releases

  • Experience in preparing costing reports for current and new designs

Preferred Skills:

  • BS in Engineering required; focus on hydraulic design preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field

  • Knowledge of truck manufacturing processes is advantageous

  • Previous automotive internships or experience valued

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate custom designs and layouts meeting customer orders or other specifications

  • Ensure product design compliance with all relevant standards and requirements

  • Analyze data to determine the feasibility of product proposals

  • Assist with warranty issues as they arise

  • Prepare detailed costing reports on various designs

Additional Information:

  • ITAR Work Regulations compliance required (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holders only)

  • Candidates must be willing to work onsite; remote options are not available

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
