Summary: Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for troubleshooting, servicing, and optimizing industrial machinery, with extensive travel requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel to customer locations for field service activities.

  • Conduct start-up, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of equipment.

  • Perform servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, or retrofitting of equipment/controls.

  • Handle electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting and repair tasks.

  • Complete service documentation and reports using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Provide customer phone support as necessary.

  • Support manufacturing operations when not engaged in field duties.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Field Service for industrial machinery.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, mechanical, and electrical drawings.

  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE systems.

  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job including working in various climate conditions.

  • Willingness to travel up to 70% both domestically and internationally with short lead times.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with municipal/industrial wastewater treatment or textile equipment is advantageous.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
