Mechanical Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and support mechanical enclosures for military and aerospace electronics.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-
5+ years of relevant work experience in designing mechanical enclosures for production products in military/aerospace
-
3+ years of design experience using SolidWorks 3D Modeling Tool
-
Familiarity with FARs, DO-160, MIL STD-461, MIL STD-810 certifications
-
Experience with MS Office, Project, PowerPoint; SolidWorks/AutoCAD CAD tools, Altium/ORCAD Capture
Preferred Skills:
-
Finite Element Analysis and/or Thermal Analysis experience

Product development experience in commercial or aerospace environments
Responsibilities:
-
Designing and analyzing mechanical packaging to customer specs using SolidWorks 3D Modeling Tools
-
Collaborating with PCB layout engineers and Electrical Engineers (EEs) to optimize packaging efficiencies
-
Supporting validation testing during dynamic environmental tests
-
Maintaining product documentation through production via internal ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
-
Assisting the Manufacturing team with problem resolution and documentation updates as required

Reporting on schedule and technical status regularly, managing multiple projects simultaneously
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
