Summary: Seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, support, and maintain automation tools in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on motion control systems and PLC/robotic programming.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical, customer-focused field service role.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, PLCs, and PCs for industrial applications.

  • Understanding of ladder logic and proficiency with at least one ladder logic software.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, controls prints, and mechanical drawings.

  • Proficient with standard electronic test equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.

  • Knowledge of motion control systems and material handling systems.

  • Experience with PLC/robotic programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and provide support for automation tools at semiconductor customer locations or assigned sites for extended periods.

  • Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services.

  • Coordinate installation, startup, validation, and commissioning of systems at customer facilities.

  • Maintain a firm understanding of mechanical devices used in systems or tools (e.g., robots, conveyors).

  • Ensure all documentation is current and accurate in coordination with the Documentation Department.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
