Panel Designer
Summary: Seeking a Control Panel Designer with expertise in CAD work, electrical schematics, and knowledge of industrial safety standards for a 9-month contract-to-hire position.
Job Requirements:

AA degree in engineering and 2 years of job-related experience or 4 years of job-related experience without a degree

Proficiency in designing and developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials

Ability to perform heating/cooling calculations for panel design

Familiarity with components selection compliant with codes and regulations

Experience interfacing with Controls Departments for design appropriateness
Preferred Skills:

Experience with control system design and implementation concepts

Proficient use of AutoCAD Electrical 2018 or higher

Proficient use of EPLAN Pro Panel 2022 or higher
Job Responsibilities:
-
Execute CAD work for the creation of electrical schematics and panel layouts

Investigate and recommend components suitable for applications while ensuring compliance

Conduct necessary calculations to ensure component usage within ratings during panel design phase

Collaborate effectively with Controls Department to align designs with control systems
*Note: Position is open to US Citizens and Green Card holders only. No security clearance required. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
