Panel Designer

Summary: Seeking a Control Panel Designer with expertise in CAD work, electrical schematics, and knowledge of industrial safety standards for a 9-month contract-to-hire position.

Job Requirements:

• AA degree in engineering and 2 years of job-related experience or 4 years of job-related experience without a degree

• Proficiency in designing and developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials

• Ability to perform heating/cooling calculations for panel design

• Familiarity with components selection compliant with codes and regulations

• Experience interfacing with Controls Departments for design appropriateness

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with control system design and implementation concepts

• Proficient use of AutoCAD Electrical 2018 or higher

• Proficient use of EPLAN Pro Panel 2022 or higher

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute CAD work for the creation of electrical schematics and panel layouts

• Investigate and recommend components suitable for applications while ensuring compliance

• Conduct necessary calculations to ensure component usage within ratings during panel design phase

• Collaborate effectively with Controls Department to align designs with control systems

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
