Summary: Seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and secure production infrastructure for software development with automation expertise in cloud environments.

Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance

  • Experience with DevOps workflows and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Artifactory, Maven)

  • Proficiency in Git and various git server products (BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab)

  • Experience supporting open-source application stacks

  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar for automation purposes

  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform)

  • Familiarity with JIRA / Confluence

  • Linux and vsphere system administration capabilities

  • Expertise in RHEL virtualization platforms installation and support

  • Container technology experience (Docker, Podman), including Kubernetes deployment and management

  • Cloud Service Providers interaction experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience

Preferred Skills:

  • VMWare VM management, AWS, Azure knowledge

  • Linux administration proficiency (RHEL 7 Linux)

  • Programming skills in Java or Python

  • Management of Big Data stacks (Hortonworks HDP/HDF, Spark, Hadoop etc.)

  • Understanding of STIG CyberSecurity Methodologies

  • Knowledge of IP Networking principles

Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Developer - Associate

  • Redhat Certified System Administrator

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator

  • CompTIA Security +

Responsibilities:

  • Build/maintain production infrastructure for software development lifecycle

  • Implement security measures for infrastructure integrity

  • Troubleshoot production issues effectively

  • Automate infrastructure setup using Ansible, Packer & Terraform within VMWare/AWS/Azure

 

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $75.00 to $100.00 per hour
