Accounting Director

Summary: Seeking an experienced Accounting Director to oversee financial transactions, reporting, compliance, and departmental improvements.

Job Requirements:

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MS Degree preferred

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• CPA certification mandatory

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in GAAP with knowledge of IFRS as an advantage

• Familiarity with IRS corporate tax code

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial transactions and reporting adhering to IFRS and US GAAP standards

• Manage the preparation and dissemination of internal/external reports including balance sheets and income statements

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for reliable financial reporting

• Establish and maintain an internal controls framework to verify effective operation

• Develop strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions

• Pursue process enhancements and technology implementations to improve department efficiency

• Handle all aspects of US corporate tax planning and compliance

Other Information:

• Position type: Permanent (Perm)

• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm EST; Hybrid work model (4 days onsite)

• Salary: $160K with a target bonus of 20%

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
